Day 1 - More Power to You: The Future of Self Servicing and Maintenance

Synopsis:

The future of self-servicing and maintenance is in your hands with the next generation of BOWA MEDICAL UK diathermy equipment, allowing you to perform self-servicing quickly and easily while saving time and reducing the servicing requirement to two years. The hands-on workshop will show you the semi-automated testing with in-built protocols and simple screen-guided service dialogue for independent safety checks. Additionally, you will receive an overview of our certified EBME training opportunities – available as part of our “Change Made Easy” initiative.

Day 1 - Nihon Kohden Workshop

Workshop 1 – 11:00-11:30

Title – ‘Solutions for connectivity in patient monitoring systems’

Synopsis – An introduction to how Nihon Kohden’s connectivity solutions ensure the safe and secure exchange of data within the hospital setting. We’ll consider how our Patient Monitoring systems satisfy regulatory requirements and maintain data integrity in support of clinical workflows.

Workshop 2 – 13:30-14:00

Title – Synthesized 18-Lead ECG – ‘Make invisible visible’

Synopsis – We’ll discuss how our Synthesized 18-lead ECG technology ‘synECi-18’ uses the 12-lead ECG waveforms to mathematically derive the waveforms of the right chest leads (V3R, V4R, V5R) and back leads (V7, V8, V9). The measurement procedure is the same as the standard 12-lead ECG but much more information can be obtained.

Synopsis

In this hands-on workshop, Mindray’s IT and connectivity experts will share advice to help your team complete wireless troubleshooting effectively in person and remotely.

From installation and ongoing maintenance to remote management of stock, this workshop includes practical troubleshooting tasks to help you quickly identify the causes of connectivity issues and resolve them faster.

Topics include: Wireless signal strength, signal to noise ratio, channel interference, ping tests, remote monitoring, diagnosing and resolving connection issues in remote monitoring, locating devices, virtual central monitoring.
